It's seems that Celtic proto-Indo-European rabble crossed the Alpes, entered Italy. Then annihilated the entire Roman army and conquered Rome. Only to turn around and leave after extracted tribute. Which goes along way towards explaining why Roman historians are so absolutely scathing about the Celts.
