Okay, i just got done engaging in a long discussion abou the recent firebombing of headshops and such in Ireland due to the "meph".

I was wondering if any of the irish posters here could give some insight into the current situation?

I have heard that basically those who control the drug trade in ireland are attacking headshops due to it ruining the business for cocaine, I have also heard that it is due to people outraged at this "epidemic".

Also, anyone here ever tried or used such a chemical.

I am thinking about purchasing some, as I can obtain it legally here in the US. I have heard it is up to 3x as powerful as cocaine and lasts 7x longer?

I read some stuff about this on a drug-related site. It doesn't seem to be as interesting as your claims might lead one to believe (I've read posts from people who claim to have used the stuff in Ireland; its classified as some sort of bath salt, I believe).

Indeed, it is one of the legal highs still avaliable. I was reading much about it on Drugs Forum. I had read initial reports of peoples feet turning blue and another report of someone ripping off his scrotum, however, this is prolly just media hype

The other legal high "spice gold" was recently made illegal although you can purchase various similar products legally here in the US.

Since being placed on probation I smoke spice like products albeit infrequently, but it does not show up on urine tests and can simply be ordered from the internet.

Indeed, it is being sold as bath salts.

Edit: it was however recently made illegal in kansas and missouri I believe. the chemical in question is JWH-018, or the less potent JWH-073

There have been many articles about it recently, mainly by the media trying to start some sort of drug hysteria
