C'mon, pictures of oneself with a Swastika Armband can ruin any future potential political career. For example David Duke could have gone much farther if there had never been a picture of him protesting the Chicago Seven with an armband on.

The swastika is native to the US (as well as many other societies). It's found in Hopi and Navajo artwork.
