Economic exchange and cooperation are on the increase between the DPRK and Switzerland after they established diplomatic relations.
The PyongSu Pharmaceutical Joint Venture Company was set up by the joint investment of the Pyongyang Pharmaceuticals Factory, a factory with the longest experience in producing medicines under the Ministry of Public Health, and Interpacific group of Swiss origin.

Commissioned in June 2004, the company sells to domestic buyers and abroad a variety of high-quality pharmaceuticals it produces in accordance with the requirements set by the World Health Organization.
The production processes and equipment and apparatuses for experiment and analysis have been designed to meet the requirements of the new century and high international standards called Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The production area is always provided
with clean air, optimum temperature, humidity and pressure by air conditioners with highly efficient special filters in them. Contamination by air is prevented by a system that generates
pressure higher inside than outside and the rooms are immune to cross-contamination. Clean water thoroughly purified by a reverse osmotic technique
system is used for the production of pharmaceuticals and for the final cleaning of the equipment.
PyongSu’s international standard operating procedures (SOP) include the manufacturing process of pharmaceuticals, sanitary rules of producers, cleaning of equipment and protection of equipment and facilities.
All the raw materials and packing materials the company uses are well known to the world and have been testified.
The quality of all its pharmaceuticals is reliably guaranteed by state-of-the-art equipment and apparatuses and competent technicians.
The company’s high-quality pharmaceuticals will make an active contribution to the promotion of people’s health.
