When I rented this, I hoped they would dub it so subtitles wouldn't distract from the special effects. They did. And this film is incredible. THIS is what the original Final Fantasy movie should have been like.

Yes, its like two years after the game Final Fantasy VII, and Cloud is in it. In fact, on the DVD there's an option to watch the gameline story, with important plot moments and cinema so you can catch up on whats going on in the movie.

A good professional dubbing job can actually be a good thing... Witness Hiyao Miyazaki's films, after they've recieved a pricey going-over.

Its two years after Siporath, and the remnants are trying to create 'reunion' with Jenova. Cloud is the only thing standing in their way, and the special effects are UNBELIEVABLE.
