We created two new forums. First of all, you'll notice a temporary subforum in sports, about the upcoming Worldcup. No explanation is needed here. Second, in the enclaves, we created a new forum for occult topics. Ahknaton requested such a forum, and there was no real reason not to.

Is it just me or does having other nationals play on your team defeat the purpose of NATIONAL competition? I mean, let's say i am the leader of aruba. All i have to do is import lots of kenyans to compete in all running competitions, lots of russians to play for my hockey team, and bobby fischer to play chess for me. Now while i will win every single competition and my country will have prestige, this won't mean anything. No aruban won a damned thing. It's all so absurd.

The rationale is similar to having a separate Christian forum.

The assumption is that those participating either believe in it or consider it worthy of serious study as a historical/cultural phenomenon, and therefore threads do not get constantly derailed by skeptics or over-zealous anti-gnostics seeking to "disprove" the occult in general.

Where's Petit? :confused: When you define nationality in terms of culture and citizenship, which is what the Republic does, it sits fine by me. These men all speak French, live in France, participate in French life and contribute to its national glory in sport. That's a thousandfold more, and more important, than what someone like Perun who claims to be French 'by blood' can boast. The funny thing is that if you hauled your American ass to Paris and tried to chum with the locals on the basis of your skin colour with your broken and mangled patois and obnoxious puritan attitude, they'd laugh and sneer at you, and rightfully so. :p
