My second attempt at a website, this time with a different agenda.

I created The Comitium in order to have a hub for mainly highbrow and mature discussion without as much flaming as anywhere else.

It is a free-speech forum intending on having no preference for ethnic or political lines, but at the same time, being completely indiscriminate of taboo or extremist ideologies. There is an extremely heavy emphasis on philosophy, science, and the arts.

I have changed the course of the forum from being an idealistic free-for-all free speech forum to be one focused on European culture and affairs like its predecessor, except with (as mentioned above) more emphasis on science, philosophy, and the arts.

I've added a number of features including a shoutbox and a wiki, and switched over to SMF from myBB. I am looking for a handful of people familiar with the mediawiki engine, as well as content writers, to help get that portion up and running. If you're interested, please send me a PM.
