I was reading about the fuel shortages in South Africa. Apparently in some place called Kwazulu Natal there are townships where the gas stations are empty.
The stories that I read didn't mention anything about any kind of racial aspect, but I wasn't sure if maybe there is something there, but it isn't being reported. So, I decided to look into it, and it turns out that the union that's on strike (Solidarity) is almost entirely white (there also seems to be an Afrikaner angle). I'm just wondering if anyone here has any more information about it.
