Eugenics 101 as described by William Dettinger, Admiral in the Sauron Navy, War World Series.

We as a race are dedicated to the proposition that the value of the universe descends directly from the result of man's ability to observe it. Without man, of what use is the universe?

As the only creature in his experience with the ability to intellectually apprehend existence, man is the creature whose observation of the universe establishes all concepts of value, which he then applies to his observation of the universe as a test of their validity. As we exist and are intellectually aware of such existence, it is our nature, and even our obligation, to dominate the universe intellectually as well as physically.

So, as man is the measure of the universe, he is obligated to achieve a state of intellectual, physical, and spiritual evolution commensurate with that responsibility. We are the guardians of the ongoing effort to make man worthy of his obligation and his heritage as master of his own destiny and the universe in which it will unfold.

Many people have the notion that breeding for a purpose is evil, and there is no doubt that it could very well be used for evil. This is not the idea behind eugenics.

Man has been breeding animals on this earth for a purpose for thousands of years. Whether it be cats, dogs, cattle, or horses, they have all been bred for a purpose. Why should it be any different for humans? Why should humans, the dominant species of known existence, be mongrels who mate with no purpose other than to produce the next generation? Why are there moral questions raised when someone puts fourth the noble idea of mating this species intelligently?

The problem is that humans are far too short sighted to really grasp the concept of directing the evolution of their own species. They are centered on the here and now, not on one-hundred generations from now, let alone ten thousand generations from now. They ask the common question: "Why should I care? I'll be dust long before then." This is a frightening mindset to possess. Why not rape the resources of the world, I'll be long gone before they run out. But your children will suffer the mistakes we make today.

What more noble cause can there be than the intellectual evolutionary progression of the human species? And what more difficult a challenge?

People look to space as the new frontier. I say look amongst yourselves. The new frontier is tomorrow and the time to prepare is today.

Lift?

I lift weights 3 times a week and bike ride almost every day, but I don't think that's what you mean.

"Do you even lift?"

Is that like an inside joke that I'm just not getting?
