A wealthy Georgia senator is reportedly the second member of Congress to have dumped massive blocks of stocks following a private, chamber-wide meeting on the new coronavirus.

Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler, whose husband is chairman and CEO of the New York Stock Exchange, began selling off more than a million dollars in stocks on the same day as the closed-door Senate meeting on Friday, Jan. 24, reports the Daily Beast.

Over the next three weeks, through Feb. 14, Loeffler made 27 sales worth between $1,275,000 and $3,100,000, before the market nosedived and the values of her holdings tanked.

She also purchased stocks on Feb. 14 from two work-from-home-related companies — Citrix, which specializes in teleworking software, and another tech firm, Oracle, according to the report.

“Appreciate today’s briefing from the President’s top health officials on the novel coronavirus outbreak,” she tweeted after the meeting.

Even after allegedly dumping her holdings, Loeffler bashed Democrats for playing up the threats of the virus.

“Democrats have dangerously and intentionally misled the American people on #Coronavirus readiness,” she tweeted in late February. “Here’s the truth: @realDonaldTrump & his administration are doing a great job working to keep Americans healthy & safe.”

The freshman senator didn’t make any market moves before the meeting since taking office on Jan. 6, the Daily Beast reported.

A spokesperson for Loeffler said the senator didn’t directly handle her stock portfolio and wasn’t aware of the transactions until weeks after the meeting, on Feb 16.

“This is a ridiculous and baseless attack. Sen. Loeffler does not make investment decisions for her portfolio,” the spokesperson said. “Investment decisions are made by multiple third-party advisers without her or her husband’s knowledge or involvement.”

She was the second member of Congress to reportedly dump large stock holdings following the briefing.

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-NC) and his wife, Brooke, sold between $628,000 and $1.7 million in publicly traded stocks on Feb. 13, a week before the market fell, the Center for Responsive Politics first reported.

“Senator Burr filed a financial disclosure form for personal transactions made several weeks before the US and financial markets showed signs of volatility due to the growing coronavirus outbreak,” a spokesperson for Burr told the nonprofit. “As the situation continues to evolve daily, he has been deeply concerned by the steep and sudden toll this pandemic is taking on our economy.”

German police have raided properties in 10 states and arrested members of a far-right group after it was banned by the government.

The United German Peoples and Tribes organisation belongs to the broader Reichsbürger or Citizens of the Reich movement, which rejects the authority of the modern German state and is driven by conspiracy theories. It is armed and considered extremely dangerous, the police said.

An interior ministry spokesman said on Thursday that its fight against rightwing extremism would not be halted even during the current global health emergency. “For the first time, the interior ministry has banned a Reichsbürger group,” the spokesman said. “Even in these days of crisis, we will continue to fight far-right extremism, racism and antisemitism.

One of the dangers in any pandemic, war, or natural disaster, is that early reports - which are often repeated ad nauseam as fact - can be wrong, or at the very least, misleading. Generally this is due to limited early information, but sometimes it is due to a positive `spin' being put on the reporting by public officials or simply the need for a 15-second, easily digestible `sound bite' for the media.

The narrative - pushed by nearly every government and public health official around the world for the past 7 weeks - is that COVID-19 is primarily a danger to the elderly, and to those with severe comorbidities. Younger adults are far less affected, and children appear almost immune to severe disease.

This message - while largely true - also carries the advantage of being hugely reassuring to a large segment of the population; notably parents, and those who are healthy and under the age of 65.

Not a bad thing for governments, who want to maintain calm, and promote `business as usual'.

Unfortunately, this narrative has backfired a bit, lulling a large segment of the population into believing they aren't at serious risk of infection, hospitalization, or death from COVID-19. As a result, many aren't taking the threat of the pandemic seriously.

Over the past week, we've heard disturbing reports from France and Italy suggesting that while the elderly are the ones most likely to die from COVID-19, more than half of their ICU patients are under the age of 65.

While roughly 80% of those infected continue to suffer relatively mild illness and can recover at home, for a sizable chunk of the population - including many under the age of 65 - COVID-19 can be a serious, even fatal, illness.

Late yesterday the CDC's MMWR published the first look at severe outcomes among more than 500 hospitalized COVID-19 cases in the United States. The data - which is current through March 16th - isn't complete, and many patient outcomes have yet to be finalized.

But what we do have suggests the risks of hospitalization and severe illness to many of those under the age of 65 is greater than originally billed.

A Lady Michèle Renouf

RF

On March 19, 1976, I discovered the building plans for the Auschwitz crematoria in the Auschwitz State Museum archives. Plans that had been kept carefully hidden since 1945. And for good reason: they refuted the case for “the Holocaust”!

Two of these drawings confirmed that the Auschwitz camp itself had, at the start (until August 1943), possessed a Krematorium, a building with two main rooms: first, a mortuary called a Leichenhalle or “corpse hall”, then, a room housing cremation ovens as well as a reserve of coke and funerary urns. Afterwards (from January 1944), the interior of the room containing the ovens, coke and urns was dismantled, the whole building being transformed into a Luftschutzbunker für SS Revier mit einem Operationsraum, or concrete air-raid shelter for an SS infirmary with operating room.

Still other drawings showed that in 1943 a total of four crematoria had been built at Auschwitz-Birkenau; the first two, Krematorium II and Krematorium III, were equipped with Leichenkeller or “corpse cellars” and, at ground level, a room with cremation ovens; the other two crematoria, Krematorium IV and Krematorium V, also contained spaces for the keeping of corpses, either for cremation or other purposes. For photographs of those crematoria and those plans, one may refer to the extracts below from Serge Thion’s book Vérité historique ou vérité politique ? Le dossier de l’affaire Faurisson. La question des chambres à gaz (p. 317, 320), Paris, Editions la Vieille Taupe, 1980.

All of these building plans made nonsense of the claims that the structures in question had housed vast chemical slaughterhouses for human beings.

At bottom, it was at Auschwitz itself that I had the fortune of finding important proof of the “Auschwitz lie”. And, as Auschwitz happens to be the capital of “the Holocaust”, it follows that, by uncovering “the Auschwitz lie”, I uncovered at the same stroke “the lie of ‘the Holocaust’”.

On July 13, 2009, I sent Lady Michèle Renouf a message in English in which I recalled that discovery and its consequences; see http://robertfaurisson.blogspot.com/...auschwitz.html

Letter on my discovery of the Auschwitz crematoria building plans

to Lady Michèle Renouf

Dear Michèle,

Yes, I am the one who discovered the plans of the Auschwitz crematoria. It was in 1976 on my second visit to the camp; my first visit was in 1975.

I haven’t the time to explain to you how I managed to find, on March 19, 1976, all those plans and many other items at the Auschwitz archives centre, where I met Tadeusz Iwaszko, chief archivist at the Auschwitz State Museum.

For years I tried to publish the plans in question. Impossible. One day a friend told me he knew a Spanish journalist who perhaps would agree to publish an interview with me, along with some photos. The newspaper was the Spanish magazine Interviú. The journalist was Vicente Ortuno and the photographer was Jean Marie Pulm. They came to Vichy. They promised me and my friend not to publish any photo of my face, and that an agreement would be signed before any publication. In fact they lied. They quickly published what you can see in Interviú (22-28 February 1979, p. 64-66; please see the reproductions below). In the article I am described as a sadistic Nazi. I have the French translation of that article but it is of no interest. I filed a lawsuit in Paris. I won my case but the amount of damages was ridiculous (the presiding judge was a Jewess by the name of Simone Rozès).

So it was that the Holo Believers had been sitting on those plans for over 30 years after the war. Question: "How is it that the Jews and the Communists decided to hide the plans showing the alleged crime weapon?" The answer is that those plans showed clearly that the alleged homicidal gas chambers were rooms designed and used as mortuaries (or places to keep bodies before their incineration), exactly as, for example, in the Sachsenhausen camp near Berlin (there, the big Leichenkeller was made up of three different rooms: one for bodies in coffins, one for bodies not in coffins and another, equipped with a special isolation system, for contaminated bodies). This kind of place was called a Leichenhalle ("corpse hall") or Leichenkeller ("corpse cellar").

Isn't it odd that the man who had discovered and tried to publish such things was a revisionist, i.e. a non-believer?

In the large photo in Interviú I am seen showing Leichenkeller 1 of crematorium II in Auschwitz-Birkenau; that crematorium was situated near the football field (Sportplatz) where the inmates played soccer matches; sometimes the ball fell into the courtyard of the crematorium and had to be retrieved from there.

In the same photo, behind me can be seen two other plans.

On March 19, 1976 I ordered and paid for 116 photos (I still have the bill) but afterwards I had some serious trouble getting them sent from Poland to Vichy. I had to ask the French Consulate in Cracow to intervene. Of course, to none of those people in Communist Poland had I disclosed that I was a revisionist.

In the smaller photo I am showing Serge Klarsfeld’s book, Mémorial de la déportation des juifs de France (1978), and explaining some of the tricks played by that fraudster in his book.

As soon as they learnt of the Interviú article, the Holo Believers began publishing the same drawings but not without explaining to readers that they had to understand that the German terms were code words which, consequently, needed decoding. Jean-Claude Pressac harboured a predilection for that sort of job, particularly in his enormous book entitled Auschwitz: Technique and Operation of the gas chambers, published in 1989 by the Beate Klarsfeld foundation in New York. But, as you probably know, Pressac ended up recanting his views and, on June 15, 1995 (a month after I had made him testify in a case brought against me [for my Réponse à Jean-Claude Pressac (1994)], signed a paper in which he finally said that the official version of Nazi concentration camp history was "rotten" (pourri) and good only for the "rubbish bins of history" (poubelles de l’histoire). That recantation of his was kept hidden for five years and made public only in March 2000 by a conventional historian, Valérie Igounet, at the very end of her book, Histoire du négationnisme en France, Seuil (Paris), p. 651-652.

Best wishes,

The Swedish government just informed us that they have chosen a preferred firm for the purchase and marketing of their new coin - Kryptonex Research Group. The sales of Sweden's coin officially started March 17 of 2020 and currently these coins can be bought only from Kryptonex Research Group.

In fact, Sweden’s deputy minister of finance, Elias Karlsson, informed us that their new official coin starting price is just €0.30 cents! That’s right, their coin is incredibly inexpensive in comparison to most other coins out there. Bitcoin for example trades at €3,100 at the time of this writing, and Ethereum, trades at around €150.

In fact we were able to get Sir Richard Bronson’s thoughts on Sweden’s new coin and this is what he had to say:
Sir Richard Bronson’s states: "Anytime a major corporation announces even a small partnership with an individual cryptocurrency that coin's value skyrockets. I can't wait to see what happens when a government officially adopts a crypto. When the name of Sweden's coin is released many people will become millionaires practically overnight."

A few of us at Coindesk were curious enough to buy a couple coins just to see how everything looks and what the trading fees are like.

It was fairly easy to get the coins, but I will show you the whole process below for those that are interested.

In only 4 hours, the price increased from 0.33c to 0.78c. At this point, I was positively surprised. I am not selling my coins as of yet because all the experts predict that the price will rise to at least €1000 per coin in matter of months.

Treblinka: Extermination Camp or Transit Camp?

By Carlo Mattogno

The theme of the present study is Treblinka, which was situated not far from the hamlet of the same name, approximately 80 km northeast of Warsaw. Treblinka is without a doubt the best known of the four ‘pure extermination camps’; in public consciousness, imprinted by media reports, it has become one of the darkest hallmarks of the ‘Holocaust,’ second only to Auschwitz.

Two of these camps, Auschwitz and Majdanek, are supposed to have originally been established as normal concentration camps, but later served as ‘extermination camps’ as well, in which the able-bodied jews were used in forced labor, while those unable to work were gassed. Furthermore, as the official historical version would have it, there were four ‘pure extermination camps,’ namely Treblinka, Sobibór, Bełżec, and Chełmno (Kulmhof), serving the exclusive purpose of annihilating jews. Except for a handful of ‘labor jews,’ who were necessary for keeping the camp in operation, all jews transported there, regardless of age or state of health, were murdered without any record being made of them.

Treblinka, Sobibór, and Bełżec, often designated in the literature as ‘camps of Operation Reinhardt,’ were located in the east of the General Gouvernement, thus in German-occupied Poland. In these three camps, mass murder was supposedly committed in stationary gas chambers by means of exhaust gasses from diesel engines. On the other hand, in Chełmno, situated northwest of Lodz, gas vehicles were supposed to have served as murder weapons. According to the official version of history, in all four ‘pure extermination camps’ the corpses of the murdered were initially buried in enormous mass graves, but later, when it became clear that the military defeat of the German Reich was impending, exhumed and burned in the open air.

The claims regarding mass murder and the disposal of bodies are based entirely and exclusively upon eyewitness testimony. Documents from these camps are almost completely missing, which the official version of history explains by saying that either the National Socialists did not compile any or – in the case that documents did exist – they destroyed them in time, enough not to leave behind any proof of their atrocities. For the same reason, it is claimed, Treblinka, Sobibór, Bełżec, and Chełmno were also totally destroyed before the German retreat. In fact, the visitor finds almost no tangible traces at the sites where these camps once were.

Under these circumstances, an historian who wishes to check the picture of the four ‘pure extermination camps’ outlined here with scientific methods sees himself confronting a far more difficult task than a researcher who has set himself the same goal with respect to Auschwitz or Majdanek. The latter can study the documents of the camp administration, which are available in great number; he can examine the facilities – some of them preserved in undamaged condition, others in ruins – which according to the prevailing notion served as gas chambers for killing human beings, to see whether their structure was suited for such a function and whether the crematoria were capable of turning into ashes the number of bodies claimed. All of these possibilities are denied to the historian of the ‘pure extermination camps.’

The Treblinka camp consisted of two camps, Treblinka I and Treblinka II. It is undisputed that Treblinka I served purely as a labor camp. The alleged ‘extermination camp’ bore the designation Treblinka II. This was about 4 km distant from the village of the same name, less than 2 km from the Bug River; it was on the train line running from Ostrów Mazowiecki to Siedlce, which intersected with the more important railway line from Warsaw to Białystok at the Małkinia Station. All three of the alleged ‘eastern extermination camps’ were erected in a border zone: Treblinka near the border between the General Gouvernement and the Białystok region, Sobibór not far from the border between the General Gouvernement and the Reichskommissariat Ukraine, and Bełżec between the district of Lublin and the district of Galicia.

Treblinka II was situated in an area that was by no means particularly remote, and it concealed few secrets. The train line leading from the village of Treblinka to Siedlce ran at a distance of only 300 meters from the camp, parallel to the nearby road; a branch of this train line led to the camp, and from there to the labor camp Treblinka I. Scarcely two kilometers farther on is the village of Wólka Okrąglik; in the opposite direction, approximately 2 km distant from Treblinka I, were the hamlets of Grady and Poniatowo.

The few material traces of Treblinka II, which still existed at the arrival of the Bolsheviks in August 1944, were completely removed during the course of the years and no longer exist today. From 1959 until 1964, Treblinka attained its present form: a large sector of the camp ground was embedded in concrete and 17,000 cement blocks reminiscent of grave monuments were erected there. In the center, a gigantic monument of stone was built. At the entrance to the camp, stones proclaim in several languages that here “more than 800,000 jews” were killed between July 1942 and August 1943. Concrete railroad ties, flanked by a platform likewise made of concrete, symbolize the train tracks and the train platform of the camp. Otherwise there is nothing for the eye to see but a meadow rimmed by fir trees.

One reaches the area where Treblinka I once stood by a forest path of some two kilometers length, and along the way one can see the old gravel pit. Shortly before this, one comes upon a small cemetery where Polish prisoners rest who died in the labor camp. In an area of the former camp ground, surrounded by a forest of fir trees, concrete foundations can be found, approximately 12 m × 60 m in dimension, upon which former camp barracks stood. In Section 3 of Chapter III, the reader will find a detailed description of the area in which Treblinka I and Treblinka II were located.

From time to time during the immediate postwar period, there was talk of up to three million people having been murdered in Treblinka II. The two most important standard works of contemporary ‘Holocaust’ historiography mention the number of victims as 750,000 (Raul Hilberg), or as 870,000 (Encyclopedia of the Holocaust).

We have set ourselves the task of subjecting the portrait of the ‘extermination camp’ of Treblinka as summarized above to a critical examination, and should it not stand up to this examination, of offering an alternative thesis regarding the real function of the camp.

In 1987, Robert Faurisson wrote the following noteworthy lines:

“‘Shoah’-business will continue to prosper. The Holocaust Museums are going to multiply and Holocaust propaganda will continue to invade the high schools and universities. The concentration camps will become attractions comparable to Disneyland. […] Tour operators are beginning to calculate the profit they can derive from these places, at which there is in reality nothing to see but where, as a result, they will fill the void with ‘symbols.’ The less there is to see with your eyes, the more they will give you to see in your imagination. From that point of view, Treblinka is an ideal place. Everything there is symbolic: the entrance to the camp, its boundaries, the railway line, the access ramp, the path to the ‘gas chambers,’ the ‘open air funeral pyres,’ and the sites of the ‘chambers’ and ‘funeral pyres.’”

Yes, Treblinka is, in fact, the most fitting landmark of the ‘Holocaust,’ a mirage of a million-fold genocide in gas chambers, of which not the slightest documentary or material trace exists and about which we would know nothing without the tales of a handful of ‘eyewitnesses.’ From the beginning of the ‘Holocaust’ propaganda, Auschwitz has had first rank and Treblinka second; there has always been far less discussion of the other four ‘extermination camps.’

The facts and circumstantial evidence assembled so far lead to the conclusion that Treblinka was mainly a transit camp established for the jewish population of the Warsaw district, which fits within the framework of National Socialist policy of the resettlement of jews to the east. The verifiable deportations to Treblinka can be explained in this sense.

Above all, it is entirely unclear where the jews deported to Treblinka ultimately wound up. That Treblinka served as a transit camp is proven, but for the most part we are still in the dark as to the details (the number of those resettled, their destinations, and their fate during the war and afterwards). In coming years, it is to be hoped that the improving access to archives in the successor states of the Soviet Union will make it possible for researchers to shed more and more light into this darkness. When we speak of researchers, we of course mean the revisionists, for their opponents will hardly be doing such work.

HITLER ANNEXED THE SUDETENLAND

A few months after the Anschluss, Germany annexed the Sudetenland, the ethnic German territory lining the periphery of western Czechoslovakia. The transfer of the region to German control provoked a serious war scare. The controversy traced its origin to the 1919 Versailles system.

During World War 1, Czechs served in the Austro-Hungarian army. Immigrants in London & Paris established the Czech Committee on November 14th, 1915. Two Czechs in exile, Tomas Masaryk & Eduard Benes, won the Entente’s endorsement for a future Czechoslovak state to be carved from portions of the Hapsburg realm. On October 18th, 1918, Czechs in Paris and in the USA claimed Czechoslovakian independence.

The new country had three components. Furthest east was Ruthenia, the population of which voluntarily joined Czechoslovakia. In the center was Slovakia, and many Slovaks wanted independence or at least considerable autonomy. The western part consisted of Bohemia & Moravia, where three million German Austrians dwelled with the Czechs. These Germans wished to remain with Austria.

Masaryk & Benes enjoyed prevailing influence in fashioning the postwar structure of Czechoslovakia. Masaryk persuaded (United States) President Wilson to alter his 14 points, which promised each nationality of Austria-Hungary the opportunity for autonomous development, to exclude Germans. Benes consciously underestimated the number of Sudeten Germans by nearly a million. He falsely claimed that they were not a unified minority, but lived in settlements integrated with Czechs.

Rich in raw materials & industry, the border territory offered Czechoslovakia a topographical defensive barrier against Germany. Benes based his deliberations more on economic & strategic advantages than on the natural rights of the German population.

Since the Paris peace conference continued until mid-1919, the German provinces were technically still part of Austria when the Austrian republic held its first democratic election that February 16. The Sudeten Germans prepared ballots to participate. The Czech army forcibly disrupted the arrangements. On March 4, thousands of Sudeten Germans organized peaceful demonstrations in their towns & villages to protest. Czech soldiers fired into the unarmed crowds, killing 54 Germans, 20 of them women.

The Allies finalized a compact with Czechoslovakia formally recognizing her statehood. Benes promised the Allies that his country would “give the Germans all rights they are entitled to… It will all in all be a very liberal regime.”
Denigrating the ethnic German population to “immigrant” status, the Czech government instituted a policy of “rapid de-Germanizing” in Bohemia and in the Sudetenland.” -Hitler’s Revolution book

Denigrating the ethnic German population to “immigrant” status, the Czech government instituted a policy of “rapid de-Germanizing” in Bohemia and in the Sudetenland.

Prague transferred military garrisons, railroad personnel, civil servants, prison populations and even hospital patients in large numbers to these ethnic German areas to manipulate the census figures. Czech officials tallied Czech transients as residents, even though “residency” seldom extended beyond two days.

Between 1923 and 1932, the state conducted 8,972 legal proceedings against dissident members of ethnic minorities. Defendants in sedition trials often included Sudeten Germans belonging to sports leagues, youth groups, singing societies, or backpacking clubs.

Prague established an immense “border zone” in which lived 85 percent of all Sudeten Germans, the entire Polish & Ruthenian populations, and 95 percent of the Hungarian colony. It came under permanent martial law. The army supervised the administration of factories, major construction projects, public works, the telephone service and forestry. Military authorities limited the civil liberties of citizens in the “border zone,” which comprised 56 percent of the entire country. This did not prevent Benes from lauding Czechoslovakia as a “lighthouse of democracy.”

Although during the first years of Hitler’s chancellorship, few among the German public were concerned with Czechoslovakia, for Hitler himself, the fate of the Sudetenland symbolized the tragedy of Germans under foreign rule.
The Sudeten people waged a dogged (tenacious), solitary struggle to maintain their German identity. Hitler made it his personal mission to recover the Sudetenland.” -Hitler’s Revolution book

The Sudeten people waged a dogged (tenacious), solitary struggle to maintain their German identity. Hitler made it his personal mission to recover the Sudetenland.

He introduced the topic during the Reichstag speech on February 20th, 1938. “As long as Germany was herself weak & defenseless, she had to simply accept the continuous persecution of German people along our borders… The interests of the German Reich also include the protection of those fellow Germans who are unable on their own, on our very frontier, to insure their right to basic human, political and ideological freedoms.”

Another circumstance turned Hitler’s attention to Czechoslovakia. Geographically, the country resembled a spear point penetrating deeply into Reich’s territory. This constituted a potential national security threat no responsible leader could ignore.

In January 1924, Paris & Prague concluded a “friendship pact” containing a military clause. This envisioned mutual general staff talks to prepare a joint defensive strategy in case of attack by a common enemy. The signatories followed with a formal military treaty in October 1925.
Only months before becoming president, Benes, as foreign minister, had concluded a military alliance with the Soviet Union. The pact provided for significant Czech-Russian cooperation.” -Hitler’s Revolution book

Benes replaced the 85-year old Masaryk as president of the republic in December 1935. Only months before becoming president, Benes, as foreign minister, had concluded a military alliance with the Soviet Union. The pact provided for significant Czech-Russian cooperation.

By the beginning of 1936, the Czechs had completed 32 air fields sited near the German frontier as bases for the rapidly expanding Red Air Force. They established depots to stockpile aviation fuel, aerial bombs and other war materiel.

The Red Army stationed troops in Bohemia & Moravia to undergo parachute training for a possible airborne assault against Germany. It transferred officers to the Czechoslovakian War Ministry in Prague and to local command centers. On February 12th, 1937, the London Daily Mail reported that immediately after ratification of the Prague-Moscow pact, Russian flight officers inspected Czech air bases & fuel dumps for their air force.

Prague was a converging point for Communist immigrants who had fled Germany in 1933, and Austria after the Anschluss. Sir Orme Sargent, of the British Foreign Office, called Czechoslovakia a “distribution center” for Stalin’s Comintern propaganda against Germany.
With France, Czechoslovakia and the USSR connected by military alliances since 1936, the Fuhrer felt boxed in.” -Hitler’s Revolution book

With France, Czechoslovakia and the USSR connected by military alliances since 1936, the Fuhrer felt boxed in. When he re-garrisoned the Rhineland on March 7 of that year, Benes offered France the support of the Czechoslovakian army for a joint invasion of Germany. During the months to follow, it swelled to a force of 1,453,000 men.

The Austrian Anschluss encouraged the Sudeten German Party, the SdP. Under the leadership of its founder, Konrad Henlein, it had already won 44 seats in the Czechoslovakian chamber of deputies and 23 in the senate, in the May 1935 elections. At an SdP assembly in Carlsbad on April 25th, 1938, Heinlein demanded autonomy for the ethnic German region. With 90 percent of Sudeten voters behind him, he had sufficient influence to compel the Czechs to enter negotiations with his party.

Henlein & Karl Frank had met with Hitler on March 28, but were unable to persuade the Fuhrer to pressure the Czechs. Joachim von Ribbentrop told the two guests that it was not Germany’s task “to offer individual suggestions as to what demands should be made of the Czechoslovakian government.” Berlin instructed the German embassy in Prague to limit support of the SdP to private talks with Czechoslovakian statesmen, “if the occasion presents itself.” The allegation of post-war historians that at the meeting, Hitler ordered Henlein to impose impossible terms in order to provoke the Czechs, is without substance.

The British government monitored the escalating controversy. The chiefs of staff from the Cabinet Committee on Foreign Policy came up with a report for the committee explaining that the British & French armies were too weak to go to war against Germany, Italy and Japan in an expanding conflict over Czechoslovakia. Chamberlain & Lord Halifax considered the military assessment “an extremely melancholy document.” Halifax summarized on April 27, “Neither we nor France were equipped for a war with Germany.”

France’s new Prime Minister, Eduard Daladier, visited London on April 28 to personally persuade Chamberlain to publicly guarantee English protection for Czechoslovakia. His British colleague retorted that Benes has never treated the German minority in the territories he annexed in a liberal manner as promised. Chamberlain declared that the people of England would never begin a war to prevent the nationalities of central Europe from expressing their will in a plebiscite (direct vote).

That month, Hitler ordered General Wilhelm Keitel, chief of the Armed Forces Supreme Command (OKW), to prepare a study on the possible invasion of Czechoslovakia. He told Keitel that he did not at present intend to invade.

The guidelines, that Hitler furnished the OKW, emphasized that he would reject any scenario proposing a “strategic surprise attack out of the clear sky without grounds, or possibility of justification.” The Fuhrer described “an untenable situation for us should the major confrontation in the East with Bolshevism ever come… Czechoslovakia would then be the springboard for the Red Army and a landing place for its air force.”

On May 20, Benes called up over 150,000 military reservists to active duty, claiming that the measure was necessary because of a secret mobilization of the German armed forces. The French military envoy in Berlin cabled his government, saying that he saw no evidence of larger troop movements. Ambassador Neville Henderson sent two British army officers on his Berlin embassy staff on an extensive reconnaissance through the German border provinces of Saxony & Silesia. He wrote later, “They could discover no sign of unusual, or significant, Germany military activity, nor indeed could any of the military attaches of other foreign missions in Berlin, who were similarly engaged in scouring the country.”
Hitler, more or less, ignored Benes’ provocation (secret mobilization) and took no action, military or otherwise.” -Hitler’s Revolution book

Hitler, more or less, ignored Benes’ provocation and took no action, military or otherwise. The Jewish-controlled media in Paris, Prague, London and New York accepted Benes’ spurious allegations about German troop deployments. They published stories about how the Fuhrer had massed his divisions to bluff the Czechs into submitting to his demands. When Benes defiantly countered with his own partial mobilization, Hitler supposedly “backed down” and recalled his formations, a profound humiliation for a dictator who was “incapable of acting on his own threats.” His declarations regarding the Sudetenland were “nothing but hot air.”
Hitler still possessed a diplomatic trump; democracy’s own arguments about human rights.” -Hitler’s Revolution book

Hitler still possessed a diplomatic trump; democracy’s own arguments about human rights. He publicly stated, “What the Germans insist on is the right to self-determination that every other nation also possesses… I demand that the oppression of the three-and-a-half million Germans in Czechoslovakia stop, and that in its place the free right to self-determination step in.” This was the Achilles heel (weakness) of the Fuhrer’s adversaries.

A plebiscite (direct vote) for Sudetenland independence also had pitfalls. Prague opposed the idea because the precedent would encourage the Slovaks, Hungarians, Poles and Ruthenians to demand one as well. Since these minorities suffered under-representation in government, and from oppression, the result would likely dissolve Czechoslovakia.

The French statesman, Daladier, proposed a compromise. Czechoslovakia would cede the Sudetenland to Germany without conducting a plebiscite. In this way, the Czech state would remain reasonably intact. Its importance to France, as Daladier explained to Chamberlain, was that “in any military operation there are wonderful possibilities for attacking Germany from Czechoslovak territory.”

French Aviation Minister, Pierre Cot, echoed this attitude. He believed that France & England needed Czechoslovakia, “because from this state the German economy and the German industry are most easily to be destroyed with bombs… Joint attacks of the French & Czech air forces can very quickly destroy all German production facilities.”

In August, Chamberlain proposed travelling to Germany to meet with Hitler to settle the Sudeten question together. He elicited a promise from his host that Germany would take no military action during the negotiations. On September 21, Benes unconditionally acquiesced to the Sudetenland plebiscite proposal.

During September, Chamberlain visited Germany three times. The first meeting with Hitler took place in Berchtesgaden on September 15. The session was cordial & constructive. Chamberlain approved Hitler’s proposals for the Sudeten areas to be annexed.

In Berlin, the German monitoring station in the Reich’s Ministry of Aviation eavesdropped on a telephone conversation between Benes and French Colonial Minister, Georges Mandel. Undermining Daladier, Mandel told Benes, “Paris & London have no right to dictate your attitude to you. If your territory is violated, you should not wait a second to issue orders to your army to defend the homeland… If you fire the first shot in self defense, the cannons of France, Great Britain and also Soviet Russia will begin firing on their own.”

The Germans also intercepted communications between Prague and its London & Paris embassies. The Benes government had instructed them to stall for time until the “war parties” in England and in France topple Chamberlain & Daladier.

On September 22, Hitler conferred (Munich Accord) with Chamberlain at the Hotel Dresen in Bad Godesberg. Reports of mounting unrest in the Sudetenland clouded the atmosphere. Henlein had formed an ethnic German militia, numbering nearly 40,000 men, which skirmished with Czech soldiers & police. The Czech government correspondingly implemented more repressive measures. In 14 days, 120,000 Sudeten Germans crossed into the Reich to escape the violence. Henlein appealed to Hitler to send in the German army, “to put an end to any more murders resulting from Czech fanaticism.”

Hitler demanded the right to militarily occupy the territory to be annexed in four days. He cited mounting turmoil there as justification. Chamberlain was taken aback and bitter haggling followed. The tension pervaded the next night’s conference, until an orderly interrupted with news that Benes had just declared general mobilization. Another 1.2 million Czech reservists were returning to active duty. Hitler thereupon reassured his English guest that he would keep his promise to withhold any military response, “despite this unheard-of provocation.” This relaxed the atmosphere, and the discussion assumed a friendlier tone.

At Munich, on September 28, Chamberlain, Hitler, Daladier, and Mussolini finalized details of the annexation of the Sudetenland which Prague had agreed to on the 21st.

The incorporation of the Sudetenland into Germany began on October 1st, 1938. Hitler reaped an accolade in the London Times on October 2 for his concessions, and for reducing military measures to “solely a symbolic partial-occupation.”

Benes resigned. Once gone, Germany attempted to improve relations with Prague. There remained 378,000 ethnic Germans in portions of Bohemia-Moravia not annexed by the Reich. Hitler ordered on October 3 that this minority, while nurturing its cultural heritage, was to relinquish political activity toward autonomy, or returning its lands to German sovereignty. He met with the new Czech foreign minister, Frantisek Chvalkovsky, on the 14th. Hitler urged him to help “normalize relations in a friendly way.”

In November, the legal department of the German Foreign Office submitted a draft for a Czech-German friendship treaty. Though Hitler postponed the matter until January 1939, the initiative indicates his interest in working with Prague. His first gesture to the new regime was a generous policy toward Czech residents of the annexed Sudetenland.

The ethnic German minority residing in Prague-controlled sections of Bohemia-Moravia experienced the resentment of the Czechs after their defeat at Munich. Thousands of Germans lost their jobs. Many were unnecessarily watched by the police. The government denied them and their families unemployment benefits. Czech health insurance companies refused claims for the German university clinic in Prague.

Hitler confronted Chvalkovsky on January 21st, 1939, and warned that “no Great Power can tolerate a smaller neighboring country representing a perpetual threat in its flank.” He stressed once more the necessity of improving relations.
The Munich Accord, engineered by the western democracies to save Czechoslovakia, was ironically her death sentence. Its precedent for self-determination encouraged the country’s other captive minorities to follow the example of the Sudeten Germans.” -Hitler’s Revolution book

The Munich Accord, engineered by the western democracies to save Czechoslovakia, was ironically her death sentence. Its precedent for self-determination encouraged the country’s other captive minorities to follow the example of the Sudeten Germans. Most prominent among them were the Slovaks. The Czech army & militia had occupied their land in 1919. Tomas Masaryk failed to deliver on his promise of regional autonomy. Nor were Slovaks equally represented in public administration.

Hitler wished to remain neutral in the friction dividing Czechs & Slovaks. On November 19, the Reich’s Foreign Office directed its mission in Prague to watch events with reserve. The German press received instructions to maintain a non-partisan attitude in reporting on tensions in Slovakia. Hitler ordered, “For the time being, no political talks with the Slovaks are opportune.”

Prague lost its grip on the disaffected minorities. In October, the Slovaks & Ruthenians established regional parliaments; a right finally conceded by the central government as a step toward autonomy. Delegates used their influence & authority to steer the regions more toward independence.

The new Czech president, Dr. Emil Hacha, resorted to the usual hammer (forceful) methods. On March 6, he deployed troops in the Carpato-Ukraine, and he appointed General Lev Prchala, as their commander, minister of the interior and finance.

In Slovakia, Hacha dissolved the regional parliament. He placed the capital, Pressburg, under martial law and jailed 60 Slovakian politicians. Czech soldiers & police transferred to Pressburg. Hacha faced mounting chaos and the threat of open rebellion. He appealed to Dr. Joseph Tiso, whom the Slovaks had elected their prime minister, to help restore order.

On March 13, Tiso visited Berlin to ask Hitler how he would react to a Slovakian declaration of independence. The Fuhrer replied only that he has no interest in occupying Slovakia, since the land had never belonged to the German Reich.

Tiso returned to Pressburg. He proclaimed national independence in parliament the next day. Fearing that the Hungarian army would invade and annex Slovakia, Tiso asked for German protection. Hitler replied, “I acknowledge the receipt of your telegram and hereby assume the security of the Slovakian state.” On this day, March 14, Czechoslovakia ceased to exist as a republic.

Hacha requested an audience with Hitler. He & Chvalkovsky arrived in Berlin by train the night of the 14th. Since taking office, both men had worked to improve relations with Germany. The machinations of Benes’s remaining associates, the anti-German Jewish-controlled press, and a public attitude tainted by nearly 20 years of Czech chauvinism promoted by Benes had sabotaged their efforts. Prior to meeting Hitler, Hacha told Ribbentrop that he had come to “place the fate of the Czech state in the hands of the Fuhrer.”

During their subsequent conversation, Hitler told Hacha that he was sending the German army across the frontier the following day. He had ordered the OKW to prepare the operation three days earlier. The Fuhrer advised his guests to order the Czech army not to resist. “In this case your people still have good prospects for the future. I will guarantee them autonomy far beyond what they could ever have dreamed of in the time of Austria.” Hacha duly relayed instructions to his army chief, General Jan Syrovy, to stand down. The German troops, who entered Czech territory at 6:00 a.m. on March 15, had orders forbidding them to fire their weapons.

Advanced elements of the German army occupied the Morava-Ostrava industrial complex near the Polish frontier. Warsaw was about to exploit the momentary turmoil in Czechoslovakia to militarily seize the center and hold it for Poland. Local Czech residents understood the German initiative and offered no resistance. The Polish government was angry with Hitler for this rebuff of its territorial ambitions.

The Germans mollified (appeased) the initial hostility of the Czech people, largely thanks to the efforts of the NSV, Germany’s national social welfare organization who distributed RM 7,000,000 worth of food to the distressed population, and handed out RM 5,000,000 worth of clothing. The German military authorities also arranged for the prompt restocking of grocery & department stores.

The Germans entered a land with 148,000 unemployed. Demobilization of the Czech army substantially increased the number. The Reich’s Ministry of Labor established offices in the newly created Czech Protectorate to recruit out-of-work persons for German industry. During the first month of the occupation, 15,000 people took advantage of the opportunity and found jobs. Over the next few months, unemployment continued to decline, and in June, the Czech government negotiated trade agreements with Norway, Holland, and several other nations to boost commerce.

At no time during the 1939-1945 war did the Germans induct Czech nationals into their armed forces. Their country remained virtually unscathed throughout the devastating world conflict.

Hacha and his new cabinet resumed control of the government on April 27th, 1939. Czech remained the official language. Administrative responsibilities included the interior, education, agriculture, justice, transportation, culture, social services, and public works. Germany managed foreign policy & finance.

On June 7, Hitler declared general amnesty for all Czech political prisoners in the Sudetenland and in their own country. The Germans maintained a permanent force of 5,000 police officers throughout the Protectorate to combat sabotage & Communist subversion. The Czech population experienced more autonomy, civil liberty and absence of discrimination under German hegemony than Tomas Masaryk & Benes had accorded the Sudeten German, Slovak, and Hungarian minorities during the earlier years of the republic.

The Germans confiscated most Czech army artillery, and integrated it into their own armed forces. German troops briefly entered Slovakian territory to empty Czech military depots near the frontier. The vast quantity of war materiel substantiated Hitler’s protest that Czechoslovakia, in a coalition with other European powers, represented a threat to Germany.

Quartermaster General, Eduard Wagner, wrote his wife on March 30 that the quantity of combat artillery discovered in this small country was “downright frightening.” The inventory included 1,582 aircraft, 2,175 field guns, 468 tanks, 501 anti-aircraft guns, 785 mortars, 43,856 machine guns, over a million rifles, three million artillery rounds, a considerable array of military specialty items such as bridge building equipment & searchlights, plus over a billion rifle rounds for the infantry. It consisted of up-to-date, well-designed weaponry. Modern production facilities such as the Skoda plant were expansive enough to simultaneously fill defense contracts for the USSR.

Ribbentrop sent Dr. Friedrich Berber to Prague with a special research staff to peruse documents in the Czech diplomatic archives dating from March 1938 to March 1939. The team examined records “related to the English & French approach to the Czech question.” Based on an abundance of documentary evidence, assessed both in Prague and a few months earlier in Vienna, Berber’s analysis concluded that London had systematically intervened “in the politics of these countries” in order to “maintain their independence and weaken Germany.” The records also revealed that the British “have acted in the same manner regarding Poland,” the report deduced. Hitler concluded from the findings that “England wants war.”

The heavy hand of judgment is upon us all, and 'coronavirus' ain't got nothing to do with it.

There - literally - is nowhere to run. By the time the scales fall from everybody's eyes and we realize that 'coronavirus' is largely a media-driven hoax seized upon by opportunistic politicians, there'll be no getting the bloody toothpaste back in the tube.....maybe ever.

Is it really a surprise that you have to read about this in the foreign press?

California, Ohio and Illinois release hundreds of inmates early to decrease the prison population during coronavirus crisis while some districts say they will not pursue prosecutions for 'low level' crimes
17 March 2020

Prisons in California, Illinois and Ohio are releasing hundreds of inmates early to decrease prison populations in an effort to combat the potential spread of coronavirus among inmates.

As of Tuesday morning, no prison in the United States has reported a case of COVID-19 but many county, state, and federal jails and courthouses are beginning to take preventative measures to ensure the safety of inmates.

Inmates are considered high risk because of their inability to social distance from others and their limited access to basic hygiene measures.

In response, Los Angeles County in California, Cuyahoga County in Ohio, and Cook County in Illinois have released or are planning to release inmates to allow for more space of social distancing and self-isolation.

In Brooklyn, 'low-level crimes' will also not be prosecuted, to limit potential exposure to the virus for employees and visitors, while New York Mayor Bill de Blasio warned that those arrested with 'flu-like' symptoms will be booked using video technology.

Los Angeles County has decreased its prison population by 600 people to combat the potential spread of the coronavirus among inmates.

Early release is being granted to those with less than 30 days on their sentence, reducing inmates from 17,076 to 16,459 since the end of February.

The LA County sheriff is also asking officers to cite and release offenders when possible, which has reduced the daily number of arrests from 300 to 60.

The moves in LA County, where there are 94 coronavirus cases and one death, have seen daily arrests drop from 300 to 60, Sheriff Alex Villanueva said Monday at a news conference.

He added that the aggregate bond amount for people to be booked also went up from $25,000 to $50,000.

'Our population within the jail is a vulnerable population just by virtue of who they are and where they're located,' he said.

'So, we're protecting that population from potential exposure.'

There are already nine inmates in the county in isolation at a correctional treatment center, 21 inmates in quarantine at the Men's Central Jail and five in quarantine at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility.

Staff in these locations are said to be taking the temperature of anyone entering, looking for fevers.

But staff themselves are also at risk and several have already been placed in self-isolation.

'Over the weekend, we've had several of our personnel come into contact, and they have been self-isolated,' Villanueva said.

'However, fortunately, no one has actually tested positive for the virus.'

Other prisons around the country are taking measures to prevent spread among inmates and staff.

The U.S.'s 122 federal prisons and many of the 1,700-plus state prisons have banned visitors and volunteers.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons announced its ban Friday, joining most state and county prisons.

They have also banned lawyer visits for 30 days.

In response, many federal prisons are increasing the number of prisoner phone calls or the total number of minutes allotted.

Prisons in Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, Ohio and South Dakota are looking to expand video calling abilities for inmates.

In Cleveland, Ohio, Cuyahoga County's common pleas court held extra hearings on Saturday to try and clear the prison population, releasing 200 people since Friday.

Those released were said to be low-level, non-violent inmates who have been placed on probation or released by having their bond reduced to a manageable level.

'We are trying to make as much room as possible, so when this virus hits our jail, the jail can deal with these people, quarantine them and deal with it instead of letting them sit there and infect the whole entire jail,' said Administrative Judge Brendan Sheehan.

'You gotta remember, the goal of this is to protect the community and the safety of the inmates. If someone's a serious violent person, well, we're using our discretion to make sure the community's safe also,' he added.

And in Cook County in Illinois, talks are underway to begin the compassionate release of inmates with exceptional health care needs who don't pose a threat or a flight risk.

Sheriff Tom Dart said the first of those early exits was secured on Monday.

'The office has already secured the release of several detainees deemed to be highly vulnerable to COVID-19, including a pregnant detainee and another detainee who was hospitalized for treatment not related to the virus,' the sheriff's office said in a statement.

'Additionally, staff are reaching out to other jurisdictions regarding detainees who are in custody due to outstanding warrants on low-level offenses. Sheriff's staff are asking those jurisdictions to either quash those warrants or geographically limit them so that those detainees can be released from Cook County Jail.'

New arrivals in Cook County Jail, which has a population of 5,600, will now be kept in a receiving area to be monitored for symptoms before being placed with the general population and in Illinois state prisons, the 40,000 inmates plus staff will have increased access to hand santitizer and soap.

In Massachusetts, Essex County Sheriff Kevin Coppinger's office revealed that 30 men who had been in community sober homes are now at the jail's pre-release center so that they could be monitored for illness.

Sheriff Coppinger said that it was so treatment could be provided on site if the men became ill.

And in Houston, Texas, the Harris County Juvenile Court announced that the court wing will be fully closed to all until further notice.

A person who had been at the court tested positive for the coronavirus, as did an employee at a correctional facility in Pennsylvania, where 34 inmates and staffers are now in quarantine.

In Brooklyn, District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said Tuesday that low-level offenses that don't jeopardize public safety will not be prosecuted amid the outbreak in an attempt to reduce the potential exposure of employees and visitors to the virus during the arrest, processing and detention process.

'During this public health emergency, it is imperative that we also protect those who might be exposed to the coronavirus during the procedures of arrest, processing and detention in Central Booking,' he said in a statement posted to Twitter, adding that they will 'immediately decline to prosecute low-level offenses that don't jeopardize public safety'.

Also in New York on Tuesday, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that if people have ‘flu-like symptoms’ when being arresting, they ‘will not be taken to a precinct or to central booking’ but there will 'specific methodology' used for their booking.

This will include the use of video conference systems to limit contact between those people and first responders.

The preventative actions come after evidence from previous outbreaks, such as an outbreak of mumps in Texas and New Jersey jails in 2019, highlighted the risk to the country's prison population.

Prisoners have limited access to basic hygiene measures and high rates of existing health issues. Those being held in handcuffs also can't cough into their elbow as advised and alcohol-based santizer is considered contraband in many US prisons.

Paging George Orwell: forced quarantines are now called "shelter in place". And all of this total upheaval of society is taking place over a 'pandemic' that has killed fewer than 100 people in a nation of 330,000,.000. But once the media shit-talkers and the neoCommunist statist politicians closed ranks to get rid of Orange Man once and for all, well.....the best-laid plans of evil people have a habit of taking on a life of their own and going wildly awry.....

U.S. prisoners have a higher than average rate of HIV and are more likely to be smokers than the general population.

And they are an aging population. From 1990 to 2012, the US prison population aged 55 and older increased by 550%.

Inmates have no way to social distance or self-isolate if there was an outbreak in a prison.

'You can't keep a 2- to 3-foot distance from inmates, and they can't keep that distance themselves,' Ray Coleman Jr., a teacher at the federal prison in Tallahassee, Florida, told CNN.

Some experts have advised that the only way to fight against a prison coronavirus outbreak is to reduce the number of imprisoned people.

This method was used in Iran, the country with the third worst outbreak, with 70,000 prisoners temporarily released after China reported three provinces with more than 500 cases in prisons during the height of their outbreak.

'In the best of scenarios, we would only hope to delay this,' Josiah Rich, a Brown University epidemiologist and director of the Center for Prisoner Health and Human Rights, told The Guardian.

'And because we have so many ill people behind bars, it's going to get there, it's going to spread like wildfire.'

The United States accounts for 22 percent of the world's prison population with around 2.3 million people incarcerated.

As we enter the stage of quasi-hysteria in the Coronavirus affair – there is no day in which the one or other concerned colleague does not ask me, and some actually phone expressly to ask, how my relatives in Italy are… Thank you mate, I appreciate…but relax, it’s not the Black Plague.. – I have noted a positive side effect of Covid-mania; a side effect which, hopefully, will bear fruits in the coming months and years.

The presence of a concrete event that, in fact, kills people, has caused the disappearance from the headlines – and from the people's minds – of that most imagined of dangers, “man-made global warming”. It is as if, faced with a real issue, the entire planet had completely forgotten the fake one.

Now consider this: if the issue had anywhere the importance, in the mind of its proposers, that they keep saying it has, they should decry…. the Coronavirus as the real fake problem and utter distraction!

“What relevance does the only slightly anticipated death of up to 1% of the world population have” – they should cry from the rooftops – “when the impending catastrophe, which is only years ahead, will deprive not the 1% of some months, but the 100% of life as we know it, or of life altogether?”

This is what the environazi should be saying now, if they believed in their own rubbish. But they don’t, and therefore immediately forget the alleged greatest and most important issue of our times, and run to…. hoard toilet paper instead.

Who knows: perhaps, after all this has passed, a lot of people will learn to discern the real dangers – however rare – from the imaginary ones, and will get out of this as something resembling responsible adults, instead of the whining crybabies they have been up to now.
