Default Why Did the Big Bang not involve White Holes?

Posted here because Penrose is a Mathematician.

Sir Roger Penrose, who is by all accounts a Good White Man, pops that important question at 1:37 in Pt. 10 of this lecture (last link below), one of the most delightful hours and a half you could possibly spend, if you like Physics, Science, and Cosmology as well as Maths. In the course of this lecture, he summarises his latest 1000+ page book, The Road to Reality. 1.5 hours is a *long* time on the internet, but a definite time savings if you don't want to read the whole book. The old gent is still going strong in his 80s, I see (this is from 2010).

Kudos to the fellow who recorded the lecture, in 10 parts (it is easiest to go to his home page if you wish to view all 10 6-10 min. segments of the lecture in a single series). If you know a lot of Physics, you can skip 1-5, which are just basic setup, and concentrate on the last 30 min., 6-9, which are the meat of his presentation. The 'Faith' is Quantum Mechanics, the 'Fashion' is String Theory, and the 'Fantasy' is Cosmology -- he criticises all 3, as well as current Big Bang theory.  (Pt. 1)

Truth does not depart from human nature. If what is regarded as truth departs from human nature, it may not be regarded as truth. - Li Chi

The Universe exists in chaos;
Man is the measure of the Universe.
The ultimate chaos of man's existence
Is the human endeavor called War.
By mastering War, we master the Universe.
