Jews exhibit, he writes, a distinctive genetic signature. Considering that the Nazis tried to exterminate Jews based on their supposed racial distinctiveness, such a conclusion might be a cause for concern. But Ostrer sees it as central to Jewish identity.

Here is the actual position of the NSDAP on where the Jews fit in racially:

The Jews are a folk, not a race. They are often portrayed as a race in order to emphasize their distinctness. They are a folk completely alien to us Germans, with an entirely different racial composition. The NSDAP grasp of Anthropology was more than a little shaky. The Jews are both an ethnicity and a ethnoreligious group. Jews like other Middle Eastern's are of mixed Western Eurasian ancestry and around a third of their ancestry is actually Hellenic. As the Greeks dominated large parts of the Middle East.

The Armenians and Assyrians are genetically more closely related to Western Europeans, than they're to the Greeks. As the Armenians aren't just Mesopotamian or Caucasian and that Aryan ancestry of theirs like the Europeans hails from the Black Sea. It's our own eastern ancestors, who gave rise to the Armens and other feral mixed Aryan types in the region, who allied with various Near Easterns in ancient times.

Evil hearts and criminal minds are both learned and genetic traits. The Jews have selected for the most evil and greedy among them to be their leaders and most successful businessmen. That the Jews are inbred freaks of nature, is secondary to the perfidious and acquisitive nature that they have bred their children to become.

It doesn't matter if they are a race or a folk, they are a criminal element in every society that they infest.
