My topic on this thread is psychopaths. I was molested by them for years as a child. It made me very angry and messed up, until I got help at 49.

Since then, I have dedicated my life to tracking down psychopaths of all sorts, and I found out that they are also fouhnd in the higher levels of politcs, the media, big business -- and some of them are Jews. And some of them post on forums, spewing hate, racism, genocide and lies.

I agree with Martha Stout, PhD, a 25-year researcher at Harvard Medical School. She wrote the 2005 bestseller The Sociopath Next Door. Four percent of Americans are born -- or suffer brain damage that makes them -- literally -- psychopaths. Perhaps three times that number are influenced by their anti-values, and very many are harmed by their hateful words and deeds.

Below are brain scans taken by Adrian Raine, PhD, graduate of Oxford and now a tenured professor at the very respected University of Southern California.

They show, first, a normal person's brain (mostly in red) and then the brain scan (mostly in blue) of one member of that tiny minority of psychopaths who ruin it for the rest of us, until we stop them.

A normal person does not derive enjoyment from hurting the feelings or dignity of another, or inflicting physical trauma or torture.

Here is the PET scan of a brain mostly in red, feeling a whole range of normal emotions (compassion, shock, horror, grief, revulsion). The subject is viewing a true photo of a terrible car wreck -- with fire, blood, brains, a deceased mother and the lives of children snuffed out.



Below, in mostly blue, the psychopath's brain on the PET scan is poor in empathy. However, we do see here some red areas that are "lit up." These are brain areas that experience excitement, amusement and pleasure – a rich and gloating psychopathic enjoyment of the agony and ruin of the innocent.



Martha Stout of Harvard University and U.C. Berkeley, and the late, great Hervey Cleckley of Oxford University, England, and Adrian Raine, also of Oxford, have written in great detail that [b]many psychopaths go into politics, CEO positions and into the mass media.

Dr. Robert Hare of Canada has done tremendous work in defining the problem of psychopaths who infest high leadership positions throughout society -- those whom he calls “Snakes in Suits.”

They are by no means “mentally ill,” and they are not “suffering.” They are often happy and successful, living a calculating, sadistic lifestyle as parasites. They are , in effect, a mutant life form, resembling physically a human being, but not psychologically. They feel no compassion for you as they cause your suffering; they cannot feel anything but intense joy at your misery.

A thread was started by a Spaniard on the subject of the 2002 Israeli massacre of the Jenin Refugee Camp, near the Palestinian village of Jenin.

Even the Bush White House voted for a UN commission to investigate this atrocity.

In late April and on May 3, 2002, the UN, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch released reports about the Israeli military incursions into Jenin. The reports documented that approximately 30 Palestinian militants, 22 Palestinian civilians, and 23 Israeli soldiers were killed in the fighting and thus found no evidence to sustain claims that a massacre took place. However, HRW did say that Israel "committed serious violations of international humanitarian law, some amounting prima facie to war crimes," while Amnesty International similarly alleged evidence that Israel had committed war crimes.



The Anti-Defamation League questioned how HRW and AI could both acknowledge the lack of a supposed Israeli massacre and the endangerment of Palestinian civilians by Palestinian gunmen and still maintain its accusation of Israel, and labelled the reports prejudiced.

United Nations efforts

The United Nations attempted an unsuccessful visiting mission, disbanded a fact finding mission, and ultimately issued a report based on its limited findings.

The United Nations visiting mission ordered by the UN Commission on Human Rights on 5 April 2002 and headed by Mary Robinson, ex-President of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights was refused entry to Israel. A similar fate awaited the UN fact-finding mission.

Not saying this made me a psycho per se but I was always the type of kid that enjoyed thrashing the retard with ADHD or mocking the handicapped, well at least the born handicapped.

Well, if your post is in earnest, I salute your honesty!

It is a fact that a severe blow to the head can cause psychopathy -- or a brain disease, or being severely molested, or otherwise traumatized.

I had symptoms of severe PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome), and hundreds of violent nightmares, which were not fun either for wives or my kids.

The deranged Roman emperor Caligula both had a traumatic childhood AND caught a brain disease. While the public had very high hopes for the new young emperor, when he "recovered" and returned to the palace he was suddenly a monster.

Well, as I say, if your post is sincere, Germanic Ensemble, then I feel for you. Born psychopaths, so far, cannot be cured, but those made psychopathic can make progress.

But the point is important: the altruistic majority does not stop the psychopathic minority.

Others tell me that fluoride in our drinking water also makes people passive.

And obesity -- stressed-out people overeat -- causes body fat to also secrete estrogen, even in men.

For all these reasons, we should NOT trash the decent majority and say, in cynical disgust (or cop-out-ism!):

"Look, good men are doing nothing! So why should I be the only one to care?" (First of all, you're NOT.)

That is a cop-out, and on some level we know it. God does.

In defense of the decent majority, it has not exactly been left alone!

While the psychopaths act for their agenda, they are also bombarding this "silent majority" every second with paralyzing toxic messages.

I recall, a few years back, a speech asing Americans where their outrage was. It was a lawyer's closing argument, given by actor James Spader on the TV series "Boston Legal." (YouTube has declared this video "not suitable for minors.")

Spader's character denounces the sinister Bush police state, the torture at Guantanamo, and the apparent apathy about it all.

The Enemy, above all else, knowing how few he really is, being merely one part of the psychopathic minority of less than four percent in our population, is attacking the majority's EXPRESSION of the outrage it feels.

On a psychological and neurological level, how does one trigger the outrage that leads to open opposition?

Should we not also stimulate 1) the love of goodness, decency and of our nation, and 2) the heroism and courage, that are the values underlying action?

The values that causes the nation to not just fume, but also explode?

We need more love of good, and more hate of evil.

And we require what Thomas Carlyle, in the 1840s, famously praised as "hero worship" -- the glorying in heroes and a fierce loyalty to them when under attack. The Enemy knows that without leaders, all our values, all our love and all our violent hatred of evil, will remain unexpressed.

Leaders evoke what is slumbering in us all. Heroes evoke our own heroism.

I have a question.

Do you believe that most, possibly nearly all, people in very high positions - CEOs of multinationals, presidential-candidate level politicians, etc, are at least somewhat psychopathic or sociopathic?

I mean, even in small and mid-sized companies I find the majority of who tend to rise to the top are pretty slick and not very down-to-earth. They're not necessarily bad people but seem to be so utterly focused on the outlines and milestones of power and achievement, while ignoring the details of life that the rest of us always find so entertaining and captivating and sometimes funny and sometimes beautiful.

How much more so for those at the really stratospheric positions?
