Just got back from that area a short while ago,looking for a kidnapped victim.It looks just like Iraq,back in 99,and will be looking like Afghanistan by 2015.Only gold,precious gems or weapons can buy someone's freedom now;as the US dollar,Paso and Euro are considered a joke.Don't go near that place,unless your crazy.

What I find weird is that clearly the public is sick and horrified by these mafiosi. How can these groups not be brutally stamped out? I doubt that if the goverment (no matter how corrupt) would openly hang and quarter these scumbags on the public square anyone would raise a finger to oppose this.

You dont get it. These people are para-military. In some ways they make the taliban look like kittens. They are not afraid to lose men in battle. They have already caused the death of some 25,000 people in this war.

Why are these people not brutally stamped out? BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT CANT.

Earlier Tuesday, the Mexican army announced it had captured a key figure in the cult-like Knights Templar drug cartel that is sowing violence in western Mexico.

Saul Solis Solis, 49, a former police chief and one-time congressional candidate, was captured without incident Monday in the cartel's home state of Michoacan, Brig. Gen. Edgar Luis Villegas said during a presentation of Solis to the media.

Bet the ranch that next year, we'll be reading stories of the capture of rival-cartel strongman Brig. Gen. Edgar Luis Villegas. The arrest will be announced by the next cartel strongman camouflaged as a general/judge/police chief/elected official.

From what I read on the article these victims seem to be mafiosi or collaborators of them, unlike those two journalists hung from the bridge.

7 of the 35 have been identified and have criminal charges ranging from dealing to murder. These aren't innocents.

I read in the media here that only seven, all criminals, had been identified so far. You mention that all thirty five have been identified. I wonder what the others were butchered for.
