A little known fact in Denmark is that a lot of the Danish emigrants to America were mormons.

It's funny you should post this because not long ago I was looking at some of these maps on Wikipedia. The thing I found most interesting was this map, which showed the ancestry with the largest population in each county:

I was absolutely astounded at how German this country is. It looks like about half the land area of the country is at least plurality-German. It looks like we're actually less an Anglo country than a German one.
